Water treatment system for Cooling Tower of Takht-e-Jamshid Petrochemical Complex in Mahshahr with RO system

Takht-e-Jamshid Petrochemical Complex (TJPC) is a manufacturer of styrene-butadiene-rober elastic (SBR) and polybutadiene-rober (PBR) elastomer.
The major share of the petrochemical product cost is related to the cost of the secondary services including steam, cooling water and Chiller Water. Because of this, the Takht-e-Jamshid Petrochemical Complex was committed to reducing over 80% of the cooling towers to reduce costs and final product prices. And refreshes the system, thereby reducing the cost of the peripheral services and the final price of the product will prevent waste of water.
In this regard, the water treatment system of the reverse osmosis cooling towers (RO) has been designed and refurbished by Absunpalayesh Engineering Company.

Project Perspective

The refinery is located in Takht-e-Jamshid Petrochemical Complex, Mahshahr Port, Special Area, site 2, which provides part of the water needed for the Takht-e-Jamshid Petrochemical Complex.
The required design data were extracted according to Takht-e-Jamshid Petrochemical Company by the Absunpalayesh engineering company.

Activity description

Due to the objective of Takht-e-Jamshid Complex to reduce costs and prevent wastewater cooling of cooling towers, the Absunpalayesh Engineering Company has refined a reverse osmosis water treatment system.
Based on this method, 11.5 cubic meters per hour of refined water is supplied for industrial use.
The design of Takht-e-Jamshidpetrochemical plant based on TDS: 295ppm in three general stages is as follows:
